thats a very interesting point of view though Ive never read the book but it is a very vague question being as its asking the meaning of life which has been since the beginning all according to ones perspective. But Id say that its focusing on the fact that pretty much no one is perfect as such everyone is going to make mistakes. And in making mistakes we arguably “violate” who we are though in doing so often change ourselves into who we will one day be defined as. It is a pessimistic view though that is such by most robotic because robots cant think and so cant hope and have faith either. In violating who you are you grow you learn. As a baby you have no identity just a few internal drives to direct you and the environment you are born into to guide you. So every step you take is a violation to that which you are at such a young age.
